We will be embarking on a captivating exploration of two major caves

 

Chobhar Caves and

Asur Cave, which is also referred to as Gorakhnath Caves

 

Chobhar, a village southwest of Kathmandu, is famous for its remarkable gorge and the caves nestled in the nearby hills. The Chobhar Gorge is a geological marvel in itself, drawing visitors and rock climbers alike to its allure. The cave system is truly extraordinary. This cave is world's 3rd longest and Asia's 2nd Longest in its lentgh with the capacity to accommodate over 20 people comfortably while ensuring ample oxygen supply. Our day tour within these caves promises to be a wonderful and unforgettable experience.

Following that, we will venture into Asur Cave, also known as Gorakhnath Cave, where we will delve into the historical and religious significance interwoven with this remarkable cave.

Upon concluding our cave adventure, we will proceed to the Dakshinkali Temple, where we will observe firsthand the profound veneration of the powerful Hindu goddess 'Kali' and explore various other facets associated with the temple.

After the temple visit, today's activities will draw to a close. We will then drive back to Kathmandu and ensure you are safely dropped off at your hotel.

8:00 AM to 8:30 AM:  Meet your Guide and Driver at your accommodation.

 

9:30 AM to 1:00 PM:  Explore Chobhar Cave.

 

Lunch Break

 

2:00 PM to 5:00 PM:  Asur Cave and Dakshinkali Temple Visit.

 

5:30 PM:  Return back to Kathmandu and you will be dropped off at your respective residence.
