Once we land there we will start traveling by vehicle from Bhadrapur to Ilam Bazar which offers a scenic and pleasant journey. As you depart from Bhadrapur, the road winds through picturesque landscapes, passing through lush green tea gardens and charming villages. The route offers stunning views of the rolling hills and terraced fields, with occasional glimpses of the majestic Himalayan peaks. The road is well-maintained, ensuring a comfortable ride as you make your way towards Ilam Bazar. Upon reaching Ilam Bazar, you will be welcomed by the serene atmosphere and the aroma of fresh tea, as Ilam is renowned for its tea production and today's stop for overnight stay.

The journey begins from Ilam which goes through Fikkal and Phidim . Finally, after a journey of several hours, you arrive at Taplejung. This town is located at an elevation of around 1,800 meters and serves as the gateway to the Kanchenjunga Conservation Area. Taplejung offers stunning views of the world's third highest mountain, Mount Kanchenjunga, and is a starting point for various treks and expeditions in the region. From here, we will embark on a brief trek covering a distance of 9 kilometers to reach Mitlung, where you will be staying overnight.

Today after the breakfast, As we follow the course of the Tamor River, we will traverse alongside scenic terraced farmlands and dense jungles. The climb is gradual, offering some of the finest walking paths in this section of the trek. Along the way, we can pause at one of the villages to savor the local cuisine. Keep an eye out for the sight of rare wildlife and enchanting avian species as we approach Phurumbu. Phurumbu village is characterized by closely situated houses constructed with wood and topped with tin roofs, much like the typical dwellings encountered throughout this trek. We will spend the night at a lodge in Chiruwa.
